WPL 2025 Points Table: The new season of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) started in an emphatic fashion, as it was a proper nail-bitter between defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and underdogs Gujarat Giants (GG). Ashleigh Gardner set up the first innings with her blazing 79* before Richa Ghosh powered RCB to the highest-ever run-chase in WPL history. She made a blazing 64* in just 27 balls.
The next match was a nail-biting affair in Vadodara between the Mumbai Indians (MI) and the Delhi Capitals (DC). Just like their every match, it was a classic as well. Nat Sciver-Brunt put up 80* to take MI to 164 before cameos from Shafali Verma and Nikki Prasad took DC closer. On the last ball, DC needed 2 runs and Arundhati Reddy ran for her life to open the account for DC. It was a moment of ecstasy and a heartbreak for MI!

When is the next WPL 2025 match?
Match 3 of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 will be played between the Gujarat Giants (GG) and the UP Warriorz (UPW) at the Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara. As usual, it will start at 7:30 PM IST, with the toss scheduled at 7:00 PM IST. Both teams have never managed to qualify for the finals and would love to change the course this time around!
