Η ήττα στη σειρά του Πακιστάν συνέβη μετά από μια απογοητευτική απόδοση στη σειρά T20I και την πρόωρη έξοδο από την υπεράσπιση του τίτλου Champions.
Former wicketkeeper-batter Kamran Akmal has strongly criticized the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman, Mohsin Naqvi, calling for his resignation if he is unable to improve the current state of the men’s team.
Pakistan’s struggles in international cricket have continued, with their latest setback coming in the ODI series against New Zealand. Despite taking a 2-0 lead, the Mohammad Rizwan-led side failed to capitalize, ultimately conceding the series. Their performance in the final match was particularly disappointing, as Pakistan suffered a crushing 84-run defeat, exposing weaknesses in batting, bowling, and fielding.
Dont ruin your reputation: Kamran Akmal to PCB chief
“It is shameful. The PCB chairman should think that if he can’t control, he should resign and leave. Don’t ruin your reputation. If you don’t want to do that, then improve the status of the current team,” Kamran said on his YouTube channel.
Pakistan’s series defeat comes after a disappointing performance in the T20I series and an early exit from their Champions Trophy title defense.
Kamran Akmal did not hold back in his criticism, delivering a strong and direct message to PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi following the team’s recent struggles. His remarks reflect the growing frustration among fans and former players, highlighting concerns over Pakistan’s declining performances in international cricket. Akmal’s statement serves as a call for immediate action to restore the team’s competitive edge.
