Why Sanju Samson is not playing the match?
Samson was expected to play for Kerala in the Ranji Trophy knockout stages after he was left out of India’s Champions Trophy team, but that hasn’t happened. His injury sustained during India vs. England’s fifth Twenty20 International at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium is the cause of his absence.
Samson made his debut for Kerala when he was selected for the squad in the 2011-12 Vijay Hazare Trophy, making his List-A debut on February 23, 2012, against Andhra Pradesh.
